Synopsis

Crystal Moon is a Puzzle Game in which the player will play a space archeologist in search of the civilization of a frozen moon in order to understand the reason for its disappearance, both sudden and mysterious. To prevail over the obstacle which will stand in his way to the ruins of this troglodytic civilization deep down below the surface, he will have to use an alien tool, allowing him to interact with his surroundings and to use portals to an alternate dimension. The player experience will be paced between exploration phase of the environment and puzzle phase, getting more and more complex, influenced by an alternate dimension, involving the player with the discovery of the last moment of this civilization and the understanding of the reason behind its disappearance.

The game

The first demo of the game will offer the player to play as the archeologist as he needs to travel through one of the logistic zone of the vanished civilization. In it, he will have to follow a freight rail through the area down to the city below. He will have to accompany a transport platform to a security post, which he will then have to find his way into. He will have to use his tool and dimensional portals to overcome the puzzles of this logistical zone, before finally entering the security station and navigating inside. As he explores the site, he will have the opportunity to find and decipher resources from the ancient civilization, and thus understand what happened. The sequence ends with the player obtaining the last crystal, which grants him a new ability, and progressing to the next zone, the city.
