Synopsis

In a galaxy dominated by machines, the Artificial Intelligence Klang holds total control over the Clics, extinguishing all hope of liberation. However, on a distant planet, two small Clic robots make a startling discovery. Deep within an abandoned factory, they encounter an astonishingly gluttonous new life form that consumes any scrap of metal it is given, producing small defense kits in return. These kits might be the key to reversing the tide of the war. Unfortunately, the Klangs will stop at nothing to prevent this revolution.

The game

Core Defenders is a cooperative two-person experience in which you play as the robots Clic and Clac. In the heart of an abandoned factory, a revolutionary energy source attracts the attention of the Klangs: a gelatinous life form. Join forces with a friend to collect resources and build ingenious defense turrets with creative machines. Face the enemy hordes together in frenetic battles where cooperation is the key to repelling the mechanical invasion.
